Я не могу сгенерировать ключ gpg через программу для ключей

Всякий раз, когда я пытаюсь сгенерировать ключ gpg через системную программу GPG, он запрашивает мое имя, адрес электронной почты и пароль, и все, кроме главного окна программы GPG, исчезает.

При использовании gpg key-gen

Для меня удаление .gnugpgпапки помогло:

sudo rm -rf ~/.gnugpg

Разрешения могут быть неправильными после того, как вы запустили gpg от root, что делает невозможным изменение одного / нескольких файлов как обычного пользователя "joey".

find ~/.gnupg -type d -exec sudo chown joey:joey {} \; -exec chmod 700 {} \;
find ~/.gnupg -type f -exec sudo chown joey:joey {} \; -exec chmod 600 {} \;

В случае, если вы не хотите удалять существующие ключи, это будет полезно.
